Swerve Module

Any designer that did FRC will have a story about trying to design their own swerve drive at some point or another. It is a rite of passage for those that want to try something more advanced than what other parts of the game have to offer. My experience was similar, and I took a lot away from this. This project taught me how to design for manufacturability because it had a far more complicated assembly than anything else I had worked on in the past and there was much more how to account for. I also took it upon myself to prioritize the robustness of the design because longevity is a key aspect of a drivetrain. After I made my module, I posted a video detailing my design and walking through how the design worked. To date, this video has 15 thousand views and I have been told by several people in the FRC community that they used my video as a resource when designing their own module.
